Quite often in the media, funeral directors’ premises are portrayed as dark and gloomy with heavy furniture and dated décor. This is a common misconception so we would like to show you around our office as we have worked very hard to get this right, and we are very proud of how light, bright and comfortable it is.
By showing you what to expect when you visit Armstrongs, we also feel it may take away some of the unknown.
Should you need to visit us at 43 St Andrews Street North, we have ample off-road parking for families at the front of our office.
You will enter our light, bright reception and be directed to one of our 2 meeting rooms. We have the space and choice of rooms to be able to tailor a visit to give the client the best experience we can, be it to provide a quotation, arrange a funeral, or to discuss pre-planning a funeral service.
You may notice a lack of formal desks; we sit with you not in front of you behind a desk. It is a more comfortable way to assist people and we have found that it makes all the difference to families when they need it the most.
We have refreshments and comfort facilities on site, along with a small and personal chapel room where families can come and spend time with their loved one should they wish.
